The weather has continued to be beastly here in Bugleland beloved readers, but yesterday there was a brief respite from the pouring rain, which gave us a tiny window of opportunity to go out and actively seek new finds, (in other words it had stopped pissing down so we nipped out to have a butchers at our local carboot). And here's what we found....
A lovely Ercol dining table for dining on...

This morning we arose at daybreak and drove 30 miles in the bright sunshine to our favourite carboot.

 Already at this early hour the heat was quite oppressive.

 The bare earth scorched by the suns rays.

 The whole place was full to capacity, there was not room for a slip of paper between the vehicles....

 The aroma of fresh coffee was quite intoxicating, and the queue quite rightly stretched for an eternity....

 The vast crowd hustled and bustled amongst the friendly smiling sellers.....

 Children played with gay abandon.....

 And we left with our vehicle cram packed to the roof.

Hello beloved readers, due to this beastly wet weather things have been very quiet here in Bugleland recently,in fact The Bugle meteorological office reports it has been the wettest summer since our records began in 875AD. Anyway we've managed to get out today and here's what we found....
Two quite ordinary green baize card tables...

 But look at the way the legs fold underneath, splendid!

 Looking like the rib cage of a pre-historic beast, a selection of oak coat hangers.

 Another one of Mr Mac's lamps....

 Some modernist building blocks for modernist children...

 A very important pair of  mid-century Danish garden chairs..

 So important I think we'd better look at them again....

 And lastly some cantilevered stacking chairs with some funky, groovy retro loose covers.

Oooo look there's some more! (There is in fact a seventh but he would not have his picture taken).

Well! that's not bad for a miserable wet mid-summer morning (the wettest since our records began in 875AD). Is it readers?
