Today's post beloved readers concentrates on the handmade or folk art as we like to call it, starting with these splendid signs from a makeshift church in Norfolk.

 A mere daub or perhaps something special? We lean towards the daub ourselves.

 A chair, hand decorated for a royal visit, this we think is rather delightful.

Moving on to this picture depicting a night bombing raid over Germany in 1943/44.
