A Warning To All.

Beloved readers, for some time now, The Bugle Institute of Garden Pests have been aware of a new and serious threat to your prized gardens...The giant Ethiopian tree caterpillar. We have to send our thanks to Mr Rodney Trembler of Tinkers Nob, Bugletown for these shocking images, images so shocking in fact that younger viewers, viewers of a nervous disposition or suffering from certain health problems (ie. High blood pressure, heart disease or haemorroids) may be advised to look away now.....
Here we see one of the ghastly creature relaxing on a beautiful manicured lawn....
The next image is of a pair about to devour this handsome young Turnip tree....
After ten minutes this is all that is left, (I know it's quite unbelievable isn't it readers?)
After filling their bellies they begin to mate. (It is now advisable to throw a bucket of water over them, or they will increase tenfold in a matter of days).
If you come into contact with one of these beastly creatures, then do not hesitate ring our hotline (Bugle 2436) and quote "creepy crawly", and we will send one of our highly trained staff to despatch it quickly and humainly.
Thank you.

Beloved readers, your achingly hip Bugle predicts this Autumns hot look will be paisley, so why not get ahead of the field with this gorgeous 60's drop end sofa. You'll certainly be the envy of all your East End neighbours when you sit them on this the next time they come around for afternoon tea & Wagon Wheels.
To purchase this rare and very important iconic piece of design please contact me on Bugle 2875 and quote "sofa". Or alternatively call into Spitalfields International Antiques fair next Thursday...hang on, I'm not there next week, just call me.
Thank you.

Good day to you beloved readers, here for your enjoyment are some delightful things we've acquired this weekend, starting with this wonderful oak dropleaf table, open....
And now closed. (Those with a sharp eye may have spotted the drawer).
A rather distressed but none the less beautiful model of a Dutch barge. (How do I know it's a Dutch barge you may ask yourself?) Because the gentleman from whom I purchased it from told me.
A very groovy, cool, hip retro occasional table...
Something along a similar line, but not so retro....
And another one. (It's getting a bit boring now isn't it beloved readers?)
 A triangle...
 Sexy closeups....
 Cor!!
 A Danish chair....
 A very large ceramic wart.....
A holdall, (this is coming on holiday with me).
Is that a Ercol rocking chair?
A beautiful and comfy leather chair. (Early D.F.S.)
It's going on a bit this morning isn't it readers?
And lastly and definitely the bestest, the find of the week, month, year....
A original floor standing Anglepoise lamp...
What a corker!
Thank you.

Hello beloved readers, have you noticed how these days people seem to want to pack as much into their lives as humanly possible? Charging down the motorway at breakneck speed just so they can dip their toes in the sea, trampling all the flora and fauna so they can take that short cut to the farmers market, or even being nearly crushed to death simply to attend the latest show by some hip, cutting edge conceptual artist.
Well let us at the Bugle just inform you that if you don't see it today, you can always ring in sick and go tomorrow, or perhaps don't bother at all, it's really not that important. Anyway here's a nice bag we bought recently and polished, we do hope you enjoy it.
Thank you.

 And worse.....

Thank you.

Recent Finds no 3278.

Hello again beloved readers, would you like to see what we've rescued from the antiques skip this weekend? Well lets start with a collection of chairs, beginning with these very elegant Victorian dining chairs....
Next this pair of shabby chic, funky retro, (pardon me whilst I vomit) folding garden chairs....
Lastly this beautifully restored Georgian armchair...
All our re-upholstery is done by the Bugle restoration company, (Bugleland 2385).
Moving swiftly on to this splendid Victorian trunk.
 What a lovely label!
And just look at the wear on the lid, scrummy!
 A spot of modernism...
 A beautiful filing cabinet.
These two look like they could become the best of friends...
Finishing with this gorgeous painted pine cupboard, I,ve left the sticky labels on as I think they add to the overall look. (Actually I couldn't be arsed to remove them.)
All of these items will naturally be for sale on Thursday at The Spitalfields International Antiques Fair, starting promptly at 8am, yes I know it's late but some tosspot has complained about the noise.
Thank you.
